Assemblage 23 – Bruise

A consistently blast

Futurepop / Synth Pop on a very high level presented by 'Assemblage 23'. The album 'Bruise' is a consistently blast! Thomas Shear alias 'Assemblage 23' is making music for over 10 years now, and 'Bruise' is the 8 full lenght album so far.

To be honest I knew the the band just by name, but never listen to one of their tracks before. This I regret now deeply. After this great album, I'll listen definitely the back catalog.

Better than VNV Nation

I truly love the way, how 'Assemblage 23' place carefully components of Electrorock and Industrial in the songs. Therefore the album sounds incredibly varied.

The track 'The Noise Inside My Head' is and will certainly be a dancefloor classic. The album also reminds me a little of the good songs of 'VNV Nation', only here they are continuously on the album.

By the way, this album also made it into our article ‘The best Synth Pop and genre-related albums 2012‘. Read now.
