Tiger La Flor – Rope Bunny

Back to the 80s with Tiger La Flor's "Rope Bunny"

Official music video "Rope Bunny" performed by "Tiger La Flor". Tiger La Flor's latest track "Rope Bunny" is a tribute to the glittering era of the 80s, wrapped in a modern synth-pop guise. With echoes of icons such as Madonna and, for those who remember her, Vanessa Paradis, this song offers a relaxed, naively nostalgic mood that fans of the genre are sure to appreciate.

The song captivates with its authentic 80s atmosphere, supported by a smooth use of synthesisers and a gently integrated funky guitar – an instrument that the artist integrates surprisingly well into the otherwise electronic sound. Despite my initial scepticism about the guitar sounds, I have to admit that they add an extra dimension to the song and enhance the overall experience.

The lyrics of "Rope Bunny" are both playful and evocative. Tiger La Flor plays with words like "tie me up honey" and "sweet like whipped cream", giving the song a playful, almost innocent quality. These light, flirty lyrics perfectly complement the breezy synth melody and invite relaxed listening without drifting too far into cheesy territory.

Although the song clearly has pop elements, it could be argued that it may be a little too pop-heavy for some listeners from the synth pop and gothic scene. This song is part of our Spotify playlist ‘New Synth Pop Songs 2024‘. The playlist is updated continuously. Follow this playlist now and don’t miss any of the latest synth pop hits in 2024.

Lyrics of "Tiger La Flor – Rope Bunny"

You’re cloud 9 fine kinda my weakness
7 heaven minutes kinda love
Crave your dior cologne
When I’m at home alone
Swore you’re sent from above
You’re cherry wine fine got me addicted
Hard-hitting extra-vicious kinda bad
I want to hear your french
Talk that bad romance
A lonely hearts club band
Hit it ‘darlin

Tie me up honey
I got what you need
I could be the rope bunny honey of your dreams
Kiss me hard sugar
Sweet like whipped cream
Wanna be your rope bunny honey make a scene

You’re lemon drop hot got me melting
Hit me like a dallas heat wave
Take your coffee black
Take your exes back
You make a bad girl pray
I mean it ‘darlin

Tie me up honey
I got what you need
I could be the rope bunny honey of your dreams
Kiss me hard sugar
Sweet like whipped cream
Wanna be your rope bunny honey make a scene

Trash my heart like a hotel room
Can I get away with you?

Tie me up honey
I got what you need
I could be the rope bunny honey of your dreams
Kiss me hard sugar
Sweet like whipped cream
Wanna be your rope bunny honey make a scene
