With Might Of The Night, Freaky Mind deliver a dark club hit

With Might Of The Night, Freaky Mind deliv­ers a track that grabs me imme­di­ately. The intro reminds me a lot of "Too Dead To Die" – a mix­ture of driv­ing indus­tri­al ele­ments and hard vocals. The raw energy that unfolds here is exactly what I love about this kind of music.

But the excit­ing thing about Might Of The Night isn't just its subtle aggress­ive­ness. The chor­us takes a com­pletely dif­fer­ent dir­ec­tion: soft, har­mo­ni­ous and almost hymn-like. This con­trast cre­ates a dynam­ic that keeps me hooked through­out. I par­tic­u­larly like the vari­ety in the song – some­thing new is con­stantly hap­pen­ing without the track los­ing its focus or intensity.

As for the vocals, I'm not usu­ally a big fan of extreme effects or heavy dis­tor­tion. But here, everything is kept in check. The vocals are raw and intense, but nev­er so over the top that they pull me out of the atmo­sphere. This makes for a sound that is both dysto­pi­an and captivating.
