No fall too deep: Circuit Preacher and Czarina deliver emotional depth and hypnotic sounds with ‘Fall Damage’
Sometimes a song hits a nerve where you least expect it. That's how I felt about Fall Damage by Circuit Preacher, who, together with Czarina, has created an atmospherically dense synth pop ballad. The track sounds like a soundtrack to a dystopian film, in which hope and melancholy dance together. The soft, almost ballad-like sounds form the perfect basis for Czarina's ethereal vocals.
What particularly impressed me is the harmony between the two voices. Circuit Preacher performs the song with an emotional urgency that touched me immediately. At the same time, Czarina's voice floats like a breath over the composition – almost ethereal, yet powerful.
Musically, Fall Damage also impresses with its variety. The song remains exciting and never drifts into monotony, which is a big plus for me. The cinematic soundscape is carried by pulsating synths that harmonize perfectly with the dark, elegant elements. The refrain “You can hate me / But I don't feel fall damage” is particularly memorable – a clear message of strength and resilience, which is also reflected in the dark undertone of the song.
The music video also deserves praise: it shows that you can achieve a lot with little. The minimalist aesthetic perfectly matches the song's sense of doom and underlines its dystopian character.

Words can break you down and change you
Ordinary man
I can’t blame you if you need to take some time
Words can break you down and change you
Ordinary man
I can’t blame you if you need to take some time
You can hate me
You can hate me
But I don’t feel fall damage
I don’t feel fall damage
Non sentio

Non sentio
You can tell by the tone they use with certain words
They don’t care if you get hurt
Sounds unfair but that’s just the way that this world works
No one gets what they deserve
So I’ll spare you the hateful things that i unlearned
Words I wish I never heard
Things that made me wish that I
Just had honest alibis
Someone who was on my side
You can hate me
You can hate me
But I don’t feel fall damage
I don’t feel fall damage
Non sentio
