As soon as the first beat of ‘Heaven In Your Arms’ kicks in, I'm hooked. The track imme­di­ately draws me in and builds up a lot of momentum and irres­ist­ible dance­ab­il­ity right from the start. What the US band OVRGRWN deliv­ers here is synth pop at its best.

I find the chor­us par­tic­u­larly power­ful, with the lyr­ics ‘No more mon­sters / Taking my heart / No more mon­sters / Eating my heart’ stuck in my head. It's extremely catchy and has that charm­ing, light 80s touch without sound­ing old-fash­ioned – the sound remains ultra-mod­ern through­out. For me, the warm, almost sen­su­al vocals are the per­fect coun­ter­bal­ance to the cool elec­tron­ic back­drop. A really power­ful piece of music that grabs me emotionally.
