The extremely fab­ulous song 'Cyborgs At Night' by the Danish band 'Silent Cure' cap­tiv­ated me almost from the first second. Taken from the mini EP 'Mazz Krazzez'. However, it is not easy for me to describe the sound of this song. Basically, it is a dark wave / synth pop song from the ground up. Full stop!

Listening subtly, I notice a lot of oth­er styl­ist­ic mix­tures in the song. These can be found in the chosen instru­ments, effects as well as in the atmo­sphere of the song. The bass­line is almost syn­thwave, parts of the arpeg­gia­t­or melody sound a bit like 90s acid house and the softly caress­ing vocals need not hide from 80s pop giants like Kate Bush or Annie Lennox.
