Minimalist, emotional, unique: Janosch Moldau impresses
After just a few seconds of listening to The Ground, I knew this song had more depth than I initially expected.
For me, the track thrives on its dense synth texture – there's so much going on, but nothing feels overloaded or chaotic. On the contrary, the many different synthesizer sounds are cleanly produced and blend together to form a harmonious whole. I especially like the emotional undertone carried by Janosch Moldau's warm, almost fragile voice.
What I don't like quite as much are the subtle guitars. Personally, I would have left them out completely – but since they're so subtly integrated, I can easily overlook them. The song still works really well for me.
