What particularly impressed me is the singing. It adds a gentle warmth that contrasts with the cool synth base. The emotions that resonate in the voice are, for me, the heart of the song.
For me, the continuous bassline is the driving pulse of "Deadendrive (Dark Mode)". It not only carries the song, but also gives it a powerful dynamic that inevitably sweeps me away. Despite the melancholy and indie nuances, the song remains powerful throughout without drifting into irrelevance. I find this interplay of melancholy, hope and energy particularly successful.
The only slight downside for me is the occasional mellow and almost indie-like note, which slightly weakens the impact. Nevertheless, Mass Minor delivers a flawless synth pop track that perfectly strikes a balance between nostalgia and modern elements.
