The new song 'No Bliss' by 'DOERFER' from Germany convinced me right from the start. After listening to the song, I was thrilled by the energy and emotionality of the song.
The soft, female vocals give the song a relaxed atmosphere that harmonises perfectly with the accompanying arpeggio sound. The mixture of electro pop and synth pop elements gives the song the necessary momentum and drives it forward.
The song definitely has a certain dark pop character, which shows through the lyrics and the mood of the song. But still, the song manages to maintain a certain lightness and playfulness that makes it very accessible.
I found the slight 80s flair of the song particularly impressive. It reminds me of some of the biggest synth pop hits of that era and gives the song a certain nostalgic charm.
