Lambert – Human Nature

Somewhere between melancholy and industrial: ‘Human Nature’ reviewed

Lambert - Human NatureThe track ‘Human Nature’ by Lambert begins with a dark, almost mysterious intro that immediately builds tension. This dark undertone runs through the whole song and, for me, forms the core of its atmosphere. The cool, industrial soundscape reminds me of IAMX – not least because of the mixture of melodic synth pop and clear, industrial elements.

The female vocals are a surprising twist that take the song to a completely new level. Her bright voice contrasts sharply with the otherwise intense and dense production. It is this contrast that makes ‘Human Nature’ so special to me. The calm, relaxed mood of the track allows space to immerse yourself in the sound. This is rare in a genre that often thrives on tempo and energy.

What I particularly appreciate about ‘Human Nature’ is the balance between melancholy and structure. The pulsating rhythms and hypnotic beats create an almost trance-like atmosphere. At the same time, however, the song remains accessible and clearly defined.
