I rejected this song with a heavy heart on SubmitHub a week ago and now I stumbled across the music video again by accident and it immediately clicked with me. I don't know why it took my brain so long, but I'm glad to have discovered this song a second time. So listen to it again and again!

"Morning Sun," recorded in Minneapolis with Brett Bullion (Low, Bad Bad Hats), the song came to Carrellee in a dream during her divorce. That morning she quickly transcribed it from her home studio, and shared the video demo on Facebook the next day where it has received 379K views. Chicago synth-pop and darkwave label Negative Gain Productions (Twin Tribes) is releasing Morning Sun on 10.13 alongside a music video produced by Doug Pray (Hype!) in anticipation of the LP vinyl/CD/digital release of "Scale of Dreams" on 11/18/22. Festival dates in the UK and Canada are scheduled for 2023.
