De/Vision – Rockets + Swords (Limited Edition)

devision_-_rockets_and_swordsA new vision

De/Vision's latest output is called 'Rockets + Swords'. A new 'De/Vision' album can always buyed blindly, because you know exactly what you get. Beautiful and melodic Synth Pop of the best kind. And 'Rockets + Swords' fulfilled this goal almost completely.

Too high expectations?

I have to give in, that I expected a bit more of the new 'De/Vision' album. But I'm not disappointed with the end result. The first single 'Brotherhood of Man' is an awesome and delicate ballad that will supported by the wonderful voice of 'Crystin Fawn'.

My second highlight is the potential club hit 'Binary Soldier'. This is a typical up-tempo De/Vision classic from the start.

'Rockets + Swords' is certainly not the strongest 'De/Vision' album, the contrary, it is an above average Synth Pop album. My personal expectations has led me astray. Electrozombies gives you an absolute purchase recommendation for the new 'De/Vision' album.

By the way, this album also made it into our article ‘The best Synth Pop and genre-related albums 2012‘. Read now.
