After 'Code 64' returned in December 2021 with the single 'Soundwave' and in March 2022 with 'The Void', they are now ready for another great release. With the synth pop / synthwave song 'Deceiver' the Swedish band 'Code 64' promotes the third single release of the album 'Broken Rhythm'.
I think the sound is still typical for 'Code 64', which is especially pleasing for the old fans, but I miss a little bit of the crunchy future pop part in the sound. Please don't get me wrong, the songs I've heard so far are all excellent, but they tend to sound a bit "soft". I'm curious if we can expect one or two more danceable club bangers on the upcoming album.
