Fresh vocals instead of a soundscape: My surprising listening experience with Vioflesh

In keeping with the almost vulnerable lyrics “If you hear my silence, I’ll exist again”, the stripped-back arrangements leave more space for the vocals, which strike me as noticeably fresher and more harmonious. The whole thing is underpinned by a melody that comes across as almost naively playful and deliberately breaks with past expectations. Personally, I particularly like this song, as it’s closer to classic synth pop than any other track the band has released so far. A truly powerful, unexpected move.
BTW: If you like the song title, check out Blondie's track "Call Me"!

Lyrics of "Vioflesh – Call Me"
If you call me again
If you say my name
If you hear my silence
I’ll exist again
if you sing our song
if you show me your wounds
If you hear what I don’t say
I will stay
I will stay. I will stay. Stay , stay
Oh ah
If you call me again
If you say my name
If you hear my silence
I’ll exist again
just say it , just say it
if you sing our song
if you show me your wounds
If you hear what I don’t say, I will stay
I'll stay. stay. stay I,ill stay stay
Oh
I 'll stay
If you call me again
If you say my name
If you hear my silence
I’ll exist again.”
if you sing our song
if you show me your wounds
If you hear what I don’t say
I will stay.
I will stay. I will stay. Stay , stay
Oh
If you call me again
If you say my name
If you hear my silence
I’ll exist again
Just say it
just say it
if you sing our song
if you show me your wounds
If you hear what I don’t say, I will stay
I will stay. stay. stay I will stay stay
