Here is the new 'Astari Nite' song 'Ashtray Ballet' and I really like this one. Reminds me a bit of the elec­tro rock times of the mid-90s. I'm think­ing of mas­ter­pieces like 'Ultra' by 'Depeche Mode' or 'Host' by 'Paradise Lost'.

Generally, I'm always very ambi­val­ent about 'Astari Nite'. Either I have no interest in the song at all or I think it's amaz­ing. There's not much space in between. I have to admit that the gen­er­ic gui­tar solo in the bridge annoys me, but 10 seconds of ear pain are good to bear in an oth­er­wise fant­ast­ic song.
