The organs of the intro of the song 'Like The Other Boys' by the Norwegian band 'Remedies' start epically and provide some surprises until the end. This song is taken from the album 'Lights Out'.
The vocals surprised me first and I thought: "Wow, sounds a bit like Nina Persson (The Cardigans)". After a little over a minute, the song slowly goes into full swing and gets more drive for dancing or head-nodding. The guitar in the bridge is not my cup of tea, but reminds in parts of Brian May (Queen). I know I sometimes have strange associations with certain sounds, but listen for yourself and write your opinion in the comments.

Remedies about 'Like The Other Boys'
"Like The Other Boys" is the first song out on Remedies upcoming album "Lights Out" (Out October 21st). The song is about breaking out of an established system, whether it's a comunity, culture, religion, tradition, or something as simple as our daily rutines. Do we fall in line and follow the crowd, or do we choose our own path when we get to the crossroads? The song, as well as the album, is self produced and partially recorded at home and in Kysten Studio in Tromsø, Nothern Norway.
