Aesthetic Perfection – ‘Til Death

I’m breathless!

Daniel Graves blasts my brain away as I listen the first time to ‘Til Death. I loved the albums before, but this one sounds like a “best of” album with brand new songs. One dance floor hit hunts the next!

Personally I appreciate that the harsh screaming from the past, is now a bit more melodic and harmonically. The mixture between the genres Industrial/EBM to Futurepop/Synthpop is phenomenal. Daniel accomplished to create his very own and unique music style.

My heart is melted away

The first single ‘Antibody‘ is a hell ride of a track. Awesome pop arrangements with cool industrial influences. These brilliant tunes will give me an ear worm for weeks.

The other singles ‘The Dark Half‘, ‘Big Bad Wolf‘, and ‘The New Black‘ from ‘Til Death’ are fabulous as well. And each song is super catchy and invites you to dance immediately.

I absolutely recommend you to listen to the Uber-Hit ‘Oh, Gloria!’. These are 4:44 minutes of pure joyful listening and a sweating dancing. The song ‘Showtime’ reminds me strongly of a gorgeous electronic version of Marilyn Manson’s ‘The Golden Age Of Grotesque’.

This is definitely one of my favourite albums of 2014, and maybe for sure a lifelong companion and in deep love perhaps til death. This impressive masterpiece has encountered my guts like a bomb. I’m excited what comes next.
