Client – Authority

No authority for me

The review of the new album 'Authority' from 'Client' is like I'm walking on the edge. In general is a good Synth Pop album with the quality you expect from 'Client'.

But to be honest it's far away from such classic albums like 'Command' or 'Heartland'. I really love this predecessors very much, so I'm a bit disappointed about that one.

Whining at a high level

Brilliant highlights are the tracks 'Authority', 'You Can Dance' and 'Refuge', and on the other hand there are these annoying "skip" tracks like 'Design', 'XXX Action' and most of all the track 'Artificial'. But 3 bad out of 12 songs doesn't make a bad album. I look positively forward to the next Client album.

By the way, this album also made it into our article ‘The best Synth Pop and genre-related albums 2014‘. Read now.
