Dr. Paul – It Doesn't Matter Two (Depeche Mode Cover)

The 1986 "Black Celebration" album by 'Depeche Mode' fea­tures a track called "It Doesn't Matter Two", which 'Dr. Paul' has covered in an excep­tion­al and unique man­ner. 'Dr. Paul' dis­plays remark­able cour­age and pas­sion by choos­ing to cov­er this track, which is not one of the more well-known songs in the vast 'Depeche Mode' catalogue.

Personally, I enjoyed this cov­er des­pite the fact that it devi­ates from the typ­ic­al style of Martin Gore's song­writ­ing. 'Dr. Paul' has breathed new life into the ori­gin­al min­im­al­ist arrange­ment, updat­ing it for the year 2023 with an elec­tri­fy­ing sound that impresses. At first, I was hes­it­ant about the cov­er when it arrived in my SubmitHub inbox, but I was pleas­antly sur­prised by the final product. This is a cov­er ver­sion that is abso­lutely worth listen­ing to and reflects the pas­sion and cre­ativ­ity of 'Dr. Paul'.

If I had to find a fault with the over­all work, it would be that the cov­er art­work could have been more suit­able and fit­ting. However, I under­stand that my views on the sig­ni­fic­ance of present­a­tion may not be shared by every­one. Overall, 'Dr. Paul's' cov­er of "It Doesn't Matter Two" is an out­stand­ing achieve­ment that is sure to leave an impres­sion on listen­ers and 'Depeche Mode' fans.
