Boost pressure for the ear canal: WarePredator tames the beast
I'll admit it openly: I'm not really a fan of overly aggressive songs that constantly overwhelm you. But I'll make an exception for Widowmaker by the Finnish band WarePredator. The track is a powerful industrial piece that whips forward with plenty of pressure and a slightly aggressive edge – fitting for the lyrical homage to the legendary 930 Turbo.
What really grabs me here and ‘saves’ the song for me is the harmonious and catchy chorus. It softens the industrial framework in just the right places so that my stress level doesn't permanently hit 110%. I also find the compact length of just 2:49 minutes very pleasant. When the ‘flat-six’ screech meets the industrial beat, the result is a dangerous but controlled dynamic that is almost impossible to resist.

Lyrics of "WarePredator – Widowmaker"
Show me how your whale tail spins
(Call me widowmaker)
How your back rotates
(Call me widowmaker)
And the noise you make
(Call me widowmaker)
When you stretch your legs
9:30 in the morning
On my way to a dead stop
Then a standstill, and a new start
Got people staring, don't give a fuck
First gear clicks
Clutch pedal hits
When I push it
You lose it
Start a movement
With the allurement
Mission statement written on the pavement
When the tires spin
Forced induction sings
I get high on
Low and lean
Wide body, powerful and mean
You wanna lose control
I like to roll
Play the game i play
It's dangerous
But I like it cause
I wanna hear you say
930 turbo in the rear
Business in the front
Party between the wheels
Kick the back loose
With a little sizzle
The playtime starts
When you hear the whistle
930 turbo on the rear
Pitch black coat
Flat six screams
It's the season
Of no reason
Backfire
Committing treason
When the tires spin
Forced induction sings
I get high on
Low and lean
Wide body, powerful and mean
You wanna lose control
I like to roll
Play the game i play
It's dangerous
But I like it cause
I wanna hear you say
