seaofsin – Inferno

Dystopian cyberpunk meets Depeche Mode vibes

The intro builds up in a dull and gloomy way, with the first gui­tars remind­ing me strongly of Depeche Mode's Ultra era. The Italian vocals are unusu­al for me, but they sound quite good here and give the whole thing a spe­cial touch.

The main beat turns out to be more of a cool, dysto­pi­an-sound­ing cyber­punk and dark synth piece. The song remains mid-tempo and has a very futur­ist­ic, min­im­al sound – which imme­di­ately brings to mind Faderhead, who had sim­il­ar sounds on his cyber­punk soundtrack. The chor­us breaks up this mood a bit: it's bright­er and sounds like fine Italian synth pop. This seems much more har­mo­ni­ous than the men­acing verses. All in all, seaof­sin has cre­ated a really cool track here.
